InteLiDar uses iPhone LiDAR depth measurements and Apple RoomPlan to detect walls, doors, windows, and furniture. It exports their dimensions, 3D positions, and rotations into a structured room model for browser based 3D rendering, furniture editing, and AI-assisted layout questions.
Built with Astra
I used Astra to design and implement InteLiDar’s Swift RoomPlan capture app, JSON export/import pipeline, React and Three.js viewer, and backend AI integration. It helped normalize coordinates, preserve object dimensions and rotations, and build furniture editing, avatar movement, sitting, collision checks, and lamp/screen toggles. I also used Astra to debug rendering issues, review LiDAR data handling, run TypeScript checks and tests, and document fixes and validation gaps.
