Built with Astra
we used astra in codex to take evermemory from a visual moodboard to a playable 3d memory world, refining it directly in the browser visual understanding: we supplied a moodboard, a traversal-video reference and four teahouse photos. astra helped translate those references into jiufen streets, traditional chinese signs and a blender-built teahouse with timber interiors and ceramic jars. we iterated on warmer colours, more vibrant buildings, character design and pathways that let players reach the entrances. agentic engineering: we coordinated separate codex tasks for the 3d world and interface, and for game logic, persistence and automated tests. the tasks shared an integration contract, reviewed each others work and resolved specific failures, including an ending that did not trigger when tea was the final memory, stale video callbacks and interrupted-playback recovery. we provided the story, taste and gameplay direction. astra helped carry those decisions through visual interpretation, implementation, review and verification.
