SG Aunty F1 By The Bay
Aunty F1 By The Bay
Race through Singapore’s Marina Bay in a browser with physics-based handling, live lap timing and Aunty Mei: a cheeky pit-wall companion who reacts to your driving and shares local stories. Built through an AI-assisted code-and-test workflow with Astra.
Built with Astra
We used Astra through Codex as an engineering collaborator to develop, test and deploy an existing browser-racing prototype. We supplied the experience direction, screenshots, camera references and driving feedback. Astra inspected and edited the code, operated the browser, checked results and iterated. The game combines Three.js rendering, Rapier vehicle physics, a rear chase camera, live lap timing and contextual commentary. Astra helped adapt the multiplayer backend for ChatGPT Sites, protect the voice endpoint, run seven automated checks and publish the project to Sites and GitHub. Our workflow combined human playtesting with agent-led implementation and browser verification. We reused and credited the supplied Marina Bay environment rather than claiming the city was AI-generated. Astra was used during development; Aunty’s runtime voice implementation uses OpenAI’s Realtime API.
